This program is a call for submissions for the “Grandma & Grandpa Smart Living—Creative Active Aging Program Handbook,” organized by the Alliance with funding from the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Public Welfare Lottery Surplus. The initiative aims to help participating older adults begin to understand health and move toward self-management. To enable community workers to more effectively guide older adults in reviewing and establishing healthy lifestyles, the program uses game-based activities adaptable to different settings, and designs both “community site” and “living-room” versions of the activities. Through long-term accompaniment, it helps older adults ease feelings of loneliness and improve their quality of healthy aging.
