Asia University recently held the “2025 Interdisciplinary Exploration Activity,” encouraging students from across the campus to step out of the classroom and into different departments to learn about various disciplines through hands-on experience. The Department of Long-Term Care specially designed a themed booth that combined interactive teaching aids with explanations from faculty and students, helping participants understand the importance of long-term care professionals in an aging society.

The booth, designed under the theme “Discover Long-Term Care, Learn through Play,” featured tables full of colorful wooden teaching aids and rehabilitation game equipment that simulated common training scenarios for older adults, including fine motor and hand–eye coordination exercises. Faculty members and students personally demonstrated how to use the materials and invited students from different departments to join in the activities, explaining how each exercise can help older adults maintain their functions and slow down physical decline.
