This event is an outcomes showcase for the Ministry of Culture project implemented by the Museum: “Satellite Township Outreach Program on Arts & Cultural Social Interaction for Older Adults and the Application of Art Therapy.” In addition to sharing the results of introducing art-making into senior community sites in satellite townships such as Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou and promoting “arts-integrated long-term care,” the Museum has also planned a “Old-School Life Market” with the participation of older adults. Scholars from various fields are invited to hold the “Interdisciplinary Co-learning Forum on the Outcomes of the Creative Aging through Arts Program,” jointly focusing on contemporary issues in cultural care for older adults.

The “Creative Aging Arts Courses Joint Exhibition” brings together works created by older adults in satellite townships under this program and presents them in installation form. The exhibition period is November 14–24, 2024 (ROC Year 113/11/14–11/24), and will be displayed in the corridor of the Museum’s Yingcai Entrance.

The “Old-School Life Market” features ageless craftspeople and senior talents serving as “creative-aging stall hosts,” interacting with the public and demonstrating the vitality of creative aging. Young artists are also invited to co-create with older adults, fostering intergenerational collaboration. The market will also launch the program-developed “At-Home Art Companion Kit” for on-site public体验. The market will be held November 23–24, 2024, 10:00–16:00, at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts’ Stele Forest Plaza and Sculpture Park.
