  1. The Taiwan Society for Burn and Wound Care will hold the “5th Advanced Burn Rehabilitation Course (5th ABRC)” on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 8:10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the 1st Floor Conference Room, Medical Science and Technology Building, Taipei Veterans General Hospital.

  2. In recent years, several major burn incidents (such as gas explosions and factory blasts) have caused severe casualties, underscoring the importance of disaster response and follow-up care. With advances in medical technology, survival rates for patients with severe burns have increased, and rehabilitation needs continue to grow. Patients face challenges in physical, psychological, and social recovery, making long-term involvement by an integrated multidisciplinary team essential.

  3. This course features lectures by experienced experts and includes real patient experience sharing, aiming to strengthen participants’ understanding and application of interprofessional care and clinical practice. For students in related departments, this is a valuable hands-on learning opportunity prior to entering the workforce.
