On the eve of the year-end Christmas season, the Student Association of the Department of Long-Term Care at Asia University held a “Christmas Gift Exchange” event in a classroom, inviting both students and faculty members to participate. Through relaxed and cheerful interactions, the event provided a warm close to the semester. It featured two key highlights: the gift exchange was conducted via a lucky draw, allowing every participant to enjoy the excitement of receiving a surprise; meanwhile, the department office offered an additional prize-wheel activity, giving away small gifts to enhance the festive atmosphere and sense of celebration.
Before the event began, the student association team completed gift numbering, planned the activity flow, and prepared a check-in and pick-up record to ensure the exchange ran smoothly and clearly. During the gift exchange, participants took turns drawing lots that corresponded to numbered gifts. The classroom was filled with laughter and moments of surprise—some received practical everyday items, while others drew carefully wrapped gift boxes, and everyone eagerly shared their “unboxing” reactions. The bonus activity that followed featured small gifts provided by the department office and distributed through a prize-wheel draw.
Another highlight of the event was the strong faculty-student participation. Several faculty members joined the celebration and exchanged gifts with students through the same lucky-draw process. In the lighthearted holiday setting, faculty and students shared reflections on the semester, extending classroom interactions into warmer connections and support. One student noted that the event not only helped them relax, but also strengthened their sense of belonging and the department’s cohesion.
