The Department of Long-Term Care at Asia University was invited to take part in the “Healthy Taiwan Carnival – 30th Anniversary Celebration of National Health Insurance.” Faculty and students set up an outreach booth on site, integrating long-term care and health promotion themes to encourage the public to practice daily health promotion and disability prevention.

The booth featured specially designed interactive games and teaching aids, allowing visitors to learn—through a relaxed, hands-on experience—about common health issues among older adults, functional maintenance, and key points of safe caregiving. By combining health education with fun activities, the event not only strengthened community health outreach but also enabled students to apply what they have learned in class to real-world service, highlighting the department’s commitment to healthy aging and community-based care.
