Since its establishment in 2002, the Federation of Long Term Care in Chinese Communities has successfully held the “World Congress on Long-Term Care in Chinese Communities” many times in locations including Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, Macau, Beijing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Yantai, and Hangzhou. To date, the Congress has reached its 17th edition. Each Congress has attracted more than 500 scholars, experts, policymakers, and long-term care service providers from Chinese communities around the world, generating a strong and positive response in the field of long-term care.

In order to continue promoting the development of long-term care services in Chinese communities worldwide and to further explore key issues related to long-term care, our Association—serving as the Taiwan coordinating unit for this Congress—will continue to co-organize the 18th World Congress on Long-Term Care in Chinese Communities. The meeting information is as follows:
(1) Date: November 14–17, 2024 (Thursday to Sunday)
(2) Venue: Crowne Plaza Shanghai Pujiang (Shanghai Construction Group)
