  1. The Taiwan Society for Burn and Wound Care will hold the “5th Advanced Burn Rehabilitation Course (ABRC)” on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 8:10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the 1st Floor Conference Room, Medical Science and Technology Building, Taipei Veterans General Hospital.

  2. In recent years, a number of major burn incidents (such as gas explosions and factory blasts) have resulted in serious casualties, highlighting the importance of disaster response and subsequent care. With advances in medical technology, the survival rate of patients with severe burns has increased, leading to a growing need for rehabilitation. Patients face challenges in physical, psychological, and social reconstruction, and therefore require long-term intervention from an integrated, multidisciplinary team.

  3. This course invites experts with extensive practical experience to give lectures and incorporates sharing from actual patients, in order to strengthen participants’ understanding and application of interprofessional care and clinical practice. For students in related departments, it is a valuable hands-on learning opportunity before entering the workforce. We respectfully request your university’s assistance in disseminating this information to relevant departments and encouraging students to register and participate enthusiastically.
