Simulating the Establishment of a Health Care Institution: Integrating Theory with Practice
During an in-class activity in the course “Health Care Systems and Management,” students worked in groups to simulate planning and establishing a comprehensive health care institution. After learning the theoretical foundations, each group developed a full organizational plan, exploring not only how to set up a health care organization but also how to manage human resources effectively. This process helped students translate theory into concrete practice and strengthened their hands-on operational skills.
Groups presented their outcomes through poster displays and oral presentations. Overall, the activity deepened students’ understanding of course concepts while also enhancing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
